How to Make a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Mattother Tree Service to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please let us know. This page explains how to raise a complaint and what to expect afterward. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You are welcome to contact us about:

  • Your experience when calling or contacting Mattother Tree Service
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • How a provider we connected you with behaved

If the Problem Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own quotes, pricing, work and customer service. If something went wrong with tree work at your property, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short may be removed. Please keep in mind that Mattother Tree Service cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

Sending Your Complaint

Email contact@mattother.garden and include:

  • Your name and the easiest way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like

After You Write

We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We will look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. Then we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Not Happy?

If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You may also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with licensed contractors, your state or local licensing office may be able to help too.
